You Want the Results. You Just Don't Want the Work.

Let's be honest for a second.

Everyone has a limit on how willing they are to go there. Or, if I'm being really honest, how comfortable they are staying stuck.

I see it all the time. Someone shows up for a session and wants the outcome. Now. Today. Before they've finished their coffee.

They've built their life on fantasy, illusion, and expectation, and now they expect healing to work the same way.

And I get it. We live in a world built on instant everything. Same-day delivery. Swipe right. Tap to pay. Fifteen-second reels.

But if you're expecting that from your inner work, from stepping into your full power...

Good luck.

Healing isn't a drive-through

Here's what happens when someone doesn't get an instant result they can touch. They go looking for someone who'll give them what they expect.

And that, right there, is how the healing industry is getting diluted.

A client recently told me about a healer her friend recommended. At the end of the session, he asked when she wanted to rebook. She said she needed to think about it.

His response? "I am the best healer there is. I have worked with thousands of people!"

Oh. Okay then.

That's the whole problem in one sentence. Ego dressed up as expertise.

Healers practising spiritual bypass set people up to fail. They hand out a nice feeling, call it transformation, and send people on their way. And when those clients realise nothing in their life has actually changed? They go looking for the next healer. Then the next.

By the time some of them land with me, we're not just doing the work. We're undoing the damage first. Working against every past experience that told them healing was supposed to be fast, easy and pretty, from people who never once guided them to their truth or showed them what their work actually was.

How long is a piece of string?

I had a referral recently. First question out of the gate: "How long will it take before I have the life I want?"

I said, "How long is a piece of string?"

She tried again. "Okay, what do I have to do to have the life I want?"

So I told her. You do your work. You clear your current vibration so it can expand and start attracting in what you deserve. And then more.

She wasn't happy with either answer.

But here's the thing. Your emotional burdens didn't show up overnight. Unless it was major trauma, like abuse or an accident, that shit got built layer by layer, year by year. Usually as a way to survive something.

So it's not getting released overnight either.

And it's rarely the thing you walk in with. You come in with the relationship, the money, the anxiety, the pattern you keep repeating. That's the presenting issue. Underneath it, a deeper core wound almost always runs the show and creates a bunch of those outer experiences at once.

One session does not fix all. Never has. Never will. Anyone who tells you otherwise is selling you something.

The comfort trap

This is the bit nobody wants to hear.

A lot of us built a rigid framework for how things have to be in order to feel okay being in the world. It started as a coping mechanism. A survival technique. And at some point it probably helped.

But now it's a cage with really nice cushions.

People will stay inside that framework rather than step out of their comfort zone to get what's actually available to them. Joy. Flow. A life that doesn't feel like constant damage control.

I see it more in younger generations. Many haven't had the experience of going without because you couldn't afford it. Of sitting in discomfort and finding out you'd survive. So discomfort feels like danger, instead of the doorway it actually is.

Then there are the ones who go hard... and bail

They show up. They commit. They do the work. Real shifts start happening.

Then a new layer of discomfort comes up.

Which, hello, is exactly the point. That's why we do this work. To release what's hiding behind the discomfort and causing it.

But instead of leaning in, they run. Or they slide right back into projecting and blaming anything they can for where they're at. The ex. The job. The economy. Mercury retrograde. Me.

The human self is a master of conditioning. When we give in to society's programming, the stuff that keeps us small, comfortable, and distracted, it wins. Every time.

So here's my point

Core emotional healing is not a fanciful process to make you feel good inside your comfort zone.

It's not a reset. It's a release.

It's for the people who are done negotiating with their own patterns. The ones willing to get uncomfortable on purpose, because they finally get that what's on the other side is worth it.

I always tell people to work with what feels right. Get insight from others. Find what fits. I'm not the right healer for everyone, and I'm not going to pretend I am.

But after years of doing this work, I can tell you only a small percentage of people truly commit to the process.

If you're one of them, book a free conversation. Let's get to work.

If you're not ready yet, that's okay too.
